Since beginning in January of 2021, Double Dog Forge has been specializing in high carbon steel blades and more recently, stainless. So far, I've done blades ranging from kitchen knives to EDC (Every Day Carry) to larger, more elaborate bowies, a 15 inch kukri, a 16 inch dagger, and even a 43 inch sword to fit Goliath. While blades are the main focus, other projects include using railroad spikes for various products and knife makeing classes.
About Double Dog Forge
I'm always trying new things and testing my skills. I'm always looking for a new challenge. Commissioning a blade could be a simple picture of what you'd like, or numerous communications with sketches and ideas.
With the patience I've learned as a elementary and middle school teacher, booking a class with me will not only be informative, but also entertaining. I'll do my best to answer any questions you may have so you could begin a knifemaking journey of your own if you'd like.
